My Sewing/Craft Room

We had a wonderful visit with our Granddaughter last week. We visited the Alamo, Mission Concepcion, one of the "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" restaurants, the Riverwalk in San Antonio, NASA, Galveston and the Gulf of Mexico, Ice Cream Factory and a 50's diner, a peacock farm and we went letterboxing.

I posted about my new sewing/craft room a while back, but it was not even remotely organized so no photos. Well, it's still a work in progress, but I have a few photos. The awesome cutting table in the center of the room was built by my DH from old cabinets we weren't using anymore. He flipped them upside down, added casters to one side so I could move it easily if needed, yet didn't move unless I wanted it to move. He made a new top that extended out a bit longer than my cutting board for pin holders and my coffee mug. I love it! On the left side of the room and against the windows are my scrapbooking and cardmaking tables/shelves. On the right is shelving for quilting, my design wall, my tabletop ironing board and my sewing machine. It's a terrific room and hopefully will be organized soon.
